For nearly two centuries since the pioneering launch of the brand’s first dried soups, Knorr has been elevating kitchens into tasty havens with bouillons, seasonings, mini meals and more.
Knorr’s story dates back to 1838, when Carl Heinrich Knorr opened the first Knorr kitchen in Heilbronn, Germany. A true entrepreneur, Carl was soon experimenting with methods of drying vegetables and spices to preserve both their nutritional content and flavour. This culinary curiosity led to the creation of the first Knorr dried soups, which made their European debut in the 1870s.
Flavour has always been at the heart of Knorr and 1912 would see the launch of the first bouillon cube.
Knorr’s signature product, available in cube, jelly, or powder format, continues to be the brand's bestseller. It is renowned and celebrated for the flavour it brings to local dishes worldwide. Today, Knorr is available in over 90 countries and is distinguished by its capacity to incorporate taste trends and deliver locally relevant flavours for popular top dishes.
